PURPOSE

    We, the undersigned, realizing the advantages that may be gained by organization instead of by individual efforts in any activity, do hereby combine for the purpose of promoting a spirit of cooperation in the school, social welfare in student life, professional betterment, and whatever benefits may be derived from keeping in touch with our graduates and their experiences in the field of teaching; and we do agree to be governed by the following constitution:
 


 

CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE I
   Section 1. This club shall be known as "The Mohawk Club" of the Fitchburg Normal School.

ARTICLE II
   Section 1. The officers of this club shall be: a president, a vice-president, a secretary, and a treasurer, each of whom shall be elected by a separate ballot.
   Section 2. The officers of the club shall be elected for a new school year at the next to the last meeting of the school year. The newly elected officers shall take office at the last meeting of the school year.

ARTICLE III
   Section 1. The duties of the president shall be:
a. To preside at all meetings of the club.
b. To enforce a due observance of the constitution.
c. To perform all the duties required of him by the constitution.
